Notes & Comments:
the BLACK JELLY BEAN BREW

Very strong anise smell. Bottled one in a Ball jar to see what would happen, could be a new "bottling" technique.

"It was OK - if you like thin dark beer and licorice." - B.

One person kept repeatedly telling me (and anyone else who would listen) that it tasted like licorice soda(?).

Not many people liked it, especially since it was "ready" when it was suppose to be getting warm, a little too "intense" for Bar-B-Q drinkin'. Then there was Robert, Mr. "I don't really drink beer (except for Fool Circle!) and I don't like licorice", was totally into it - go figure.

Special Ingredients: Pure anise extract, almond syrup
