It's baaaack! It's the triumphant return of the Hogshead Porter! (Oh wait, he didn't just say what I think he did . . . did he?) That's right. Chocolate and Balck Patent malts are the backbone of this beer. They are the roasted grains that give a porter its dark color and roasty flavor. Also worth notice is the pleasant bitterness from the Northern Brewers hops, and the creamy body and head.
